Property Tax Notices & Delinquent Taxes

Courtesy property tax notices are mailed each year to provide property owners with information about their taxes and payment deadlines. Property taxes are due beginning October 1 and must be paid by December 31 to avoid becoming delinquent.

If taxes remain unpaid after December 31, the property enters the delinquent tax process. Properties that remain delinquent on the first Wednesday in May will be included in the annual Tax Sale. The timeline below outlines the important dates and steps in the property tax collection and delinquency process.
