Registered manufactured homes in Lee County must remain in compliance with applicable registration, tax, and decal requirements.

Staying in Compliance

Manufactured home owners should:

• Maintain a current annual registration.
• Properly display a valid manufactured home decal.
• Pay all applicable registration fees, county garbage fees, and fire protection fees.
• Notify the appropriate county office of changes in ownership, location, or status.
• Retain proof of ownership, including title documentation or other required records.
• Ensure all applicable property taxes are paid when due.
• Renew the manufactured home registration on time to avoid penalties and additional fees.

Citations

A citation may be issued when a manufactured home remains unregistered after courtesy notices have been sent and required taxes, fees, or decals have not been paid. A citation may also be issued when the required annual decal is not properly displayed.

Citation Fees

• Initial citation: $15
• Additional penalty: $24 if the citation is not paid within 15 days
