Registration & Renewals

Manufactured homes that are required to be registered must be registered within 30 days of purchase or being brought into Alabama.

Manufactured home registrations are renewed annually from October 1 through November 30. Renewals may be completed in person, by mail, or online.

A registration decal must be properly displayed on the manufactured home. Failure to renew by the deadline may result in additional fees and penalties.

Possible Exemptions

Individuals who are 65 or older or permanently and totally disabled may qualify for an exemption. Please contact the Lee County Revenue Commission Office for information about eligibility and required documentation before completing registration or renewal.
