Property Class IV

Class IV property consists of private passenger automobiles and pickup trucks as defined by §40-12-240 and §40-12-241 of the Code of Alabama.

Class IV property is assessed at 15% of its market value. These vehicles are appraised by the Alabama Department of Revenue.
