About the Data Center Solutions Project

Ingenuity led an effort our customer evaluate options for hosting the company's Enterprise Data Center.  Ingenuity developed a Total Cost of Ownership analysis, over a five-year planning horizon, that compared the cost of leaving the data center sourced and managed in-house, to moving to a pure co-location data center or building a new data center.  Ingenuity also evaluated data center managed service options on behalf of the customer, providing a market assessment of managed service vendors in the Portland, Oregon market and the Western U.S. in general.

With company taking Ingenuity's guidance in moving to a co-location provider, Ingenuity led all solicitation activities in finding the best co-location provider at the best price, including using a formal Request for Proposal process, evaluating all vendors objectively, leading the company to a short list of capable providers and conducting all final price and contract negotiation with the finalist vendor.
